*If you participated in our JULY U15-U18 Tryouts, then you MUST complete ONLY STEP C and pay for our November Make-up Tryout.  

*If you did NOT register for our July Tryouts, then you MUST complete ALL STEPS A, B, & C in order to participate in your November Make-up Tryout.

NW Juniors Tryout Registration is a three step process (A,B,C).

Your COMPLETED USAV Forms & proof of USAV Membership from Step A are UPLOADED in Step B (Player Profile); this must be done BEFORE making your NWJR tryout fee payment in Step C. Tryout spots are NOT held for incomplete registrations.

Please COMPLETE STEPS A,B,C in the ORDER LISTED below!  

STEP A: COMPLETE the FOUR USAV items below by using the links provided. (A copy of each signed form is automatically e-mailed to you - Save it!)  You will upload these in STEP B.) ** ABSOLUTELY NO NOTES OR SUBSTITUTIONS - WE DO CHECK!

    1. Cardiac and Concussion Player: It is REQUIRED to be signed by the PLAYER. (DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR ATHLETE)
    2. Cardiac and Concussion Parent: It is REQUIRED to be signed by the PARENT.

    3. Medical Release – Yes Emergency Care
        OR
        Medical Release – No Emergency Care

    4. USAV Tryout Membership **$20 non-refundable fee. (This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.). 
**This is a different membership than the "AAU Membership" required for Fall Academy.

STEP B:  COMPLETE the Tryout Registration-PLAYER PROFILE. This form is where you tell us about your athlete's experience, age group etc. and where you upload your four completed USAV forms/membership from Step A:

STEP C: Pay NW Juniors Tryout Fee

• You MUST complete steps A and B before making payment: ($30)**  (This is made thru an external payment link separate from Step B)
• **Tryout fees are non-refundable. If you are trying out for multiple clubs, you have to pay and register for each club's tryout.

Northwest Juniors Volleyball Club was established in 1972 and is a member in good standing of the Puget Sound Region of USA Volleyball.

Our Club offers teams in two separate geographic locations: "Eastside" and "Northend". These locations are determined by where the teams practice - not by where the players live. 

Players often times live in close proximity to both locations and must choose which opportunity is the best fit for them. If your drive to the Northend practice gyms is manageable, we encourage you to choose our Northend teams for tryouts, since due to population density there are less players trying out for our Northend teams.

Girls indoor Teams: a one-time $30 tryout fee is required in order to tryout for NW Juniors VBC.  Tryout fees are non-refundable. If you are trying out for multiple clubs, you have to pay and register for each club's tryout. The Tryout fee covers ONE AGE GROUP/ONE LOCATION (EA or NE) for our initial tryout.  PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER MULITIPLE TIMES. If you do not get an offer at our initial tryout, then you will have the option to attend our JULY make-up tryout.  You do not need to register again, just show up with your same assigned tryout number.  FOR NOVEMBER MAKE-UP TRYOUTS, if you already registered for our July Tryouts, then you MUST PAY the tryout fee again (STEP C).  Be sure to check team openings beforehand which will be posted to this page 48 hours after the initial tryout.  We accept debit or credit cards; Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

**Refunds will not be issued, either in whole or in part, due to COVID-19 season cancellation

There are a limited number of openings for tryouts and our tryouts usually fill. As a result, NW Juniors returning athletes will have the first opportunity to register for tryouts. NW Juniors incumbents will receive a personal invitation to register in mid-May. 

Tryout Registration OPENS to athletes from other clubs with 2023-24 CLUB** EXPERIENCE on JUNE 1st.
**Boys and Girls Club is NOT considered club volleyball

Tryout Registration OPENS to athletes without previous season club experience on JULY 1st. We will accept these registrations on a "space available" basis.

Our Eastside Teams practice primarily in the Bellevue/Factoria area. Athletes North-South from Renton to Kirkland and East-West from Seattle to Snoqualmie typically play on our Eastside teams. For a full list of Eastside practice gyms, visit our PRACTICES page.

Our Northend Teams practice primarily in the area North of Seattle and South of Everett. Athletes North-South from Arlington to Seattle and East-West from Monroe to Edmonds typically play on our Northend teams.
