Northwest Juniors Volleyball Club was established in 1972 and is a member in good standing of the Puget Sound Region of USA Volleyball.

One of the original junior clubs in what was once the Evergreen Region, we enter our 50+ year of club volleyball with optimism for a fantastic junior club season.  We welcome you to come check out our program!

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR U15 & U16 INITIAL TRYOUTS FOR BOTH EASTSIDE AND NORTHEND PRACTICE LOCATIONS.

MAKE-UP TRYOUTS:

TEAM OPENINGS WILL BE POSTED TO OUR  U15-U18 TRYOUT PAGE ON MONDAY NIGHT, JULY 29TH.  YOU MAY REGISTER FOR OUR MAKE-UP TRYOUT AT THAT TIME.

Girls indoor Teams: a one-time $30 tryout fee is required in order to tryout for NW Juniors VBC.  Tryout fees are non-refundable. If you are trying out for multiple clubs, you have to pay and register for each club's tryout. The Tryout fee covers ONE AGE GROUP/ONE LOCATION (EA or NE) for our initial tryout.  PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER MULITIPLE TIMES. If you do not get an offer at our initial tryout, then you will have the option to attend our make-up tryout.  You do not need to register again, just show up with your same assigned tryout number.  Be sure to check team openings beforehand which will be posted to this page 48 hours after the initial tryout.  We accept debit or credit cards; Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

**Refunds will not be issued, either in whole or in part, due to COVID-19 season cancellation

Your age group is determined by how old your player will be on September 1st of 2025.

NW Juniors Tryout Registration is a three step process (A,B,C).

Your COMPLETED USAV Forms & proof of USAV Membership from Step A are UPLOADED in Step B (Player Profile); this must be done BEFORE making your NWJR tryout fee payment in Step C. Tryout spots are NOT held for incomplete registrations.

Please COMPLETE STEPS A,B,C in the ORDER LISTED below!  

STEP A: COMPLETE the FOUR USAV items below by using the links provided. (A copy of each signed form is automatically e-mailed to you - Save it!)  You will upload these in STEP B.) ** ABSOLUTELY NO NOTES OR SUBSTITUTIONS - WE DO CHECK!

If you played USAV Club Volleyball during the 2023-24 Season, your membership will be valid for the Summer Tryout Period (July 27-August 4th, U15-18 Tryouts).

    1. Cardiac and Concussion Player: It is REQUIRED to be signed by the PLAYER. (DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR ATHLETE)
    2. Cardiac and Concussion Parent: It is REQUIRED to be signed by the PARENT.

    3. Medical Release – Yes Emergency Care
        OR
        Medical Release – No Emergency Care

    4. USAV Tryout Membership **$20 non-refundable fee. (This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.). 

USAV for the July Tryouts**:  If you already have Full USAV Membership for the 2023/2024 club season, then you do NOT need USAV Tryout membership. Your current membership EXPIRES 8/31/2024
**USAV Camps and Clinic ONLY Membership is NOT VALID for Tryouts.

STEP B:  COMPLETE the Tryout Registration-PLAYER PROFILE. This form is where you tell us about your athlete's experience, age group etc. and where you upload your four completed USAV forms/membership from Step A:

1. **Be sure to click on the "button" at the bottom of the "Review" page to complete your registration.

2. [July tryouts] During the tryout registration process, you will also have the opportunity to register for one of our Pre-tryout Camps the week of July 22-25. This is at an additional cost. |

STEP C: Pay NW Juniors Tryout Fee

• You MUST complete steps A and B before making payment: ($30)**  (This is made thru an external payment link separate from Step B)
• **Tryout fees are non-refundable. If you are trying out for multiple clubs, you have to pay and register for each club's tryout.

**PLEASE NOTE: The Tryout registration fee is NON-Refundable - no exceptions.  We track registrations and have a limited number of openings for each tryout. If you register for tryouts after they have closed, your registration will be moved to our makeup tryout.

Openings on our teams that we will fill at makeup tryouts are typically posted at the top of this page 3-4 days after our initial tryouts. We encourage you to check here before registering for our Make-up Tryouts.

IF YOU ARE TRYING OUT FOR A NW JUNIORS U15-U18 INDOOR TEAM, then you have the option to add a Pre-Tryout Camp at check-out when you register for NW Juniors Tryouts.  THESE CAMPS ARE ONLY OFFERED TO ADD IN OUR  U15-U18 TRYOUT REGISTRATION.

*It is advised that you have prior club team experience before signing up for these camps. The camp format is Offense Day 1 and Defense Day 2. The first 2 hours are individual skill-building and assessment, the second 2 hours are 6 v 6 oriented drills, so a prior knowledge of team offense and team defense is optimal. It is our intention to have coaches that will be coaching 15-18's on staff at these camps. Eastside coaches at Ringdall, Northend coaches at Edmonds College.

During the tryout registration process, you will have the option of registering for our Pre-tryout camp before checkout. More information on those camps is listed below.
**Pre-Tryout camps are filled on a first come basis and are Non-Refundable.

Our Club offers teams in two separate geographic locations: "Eastside" and "Northend". These locations are determined by where the teams practice - not by where the players live. 

Players often times live in close proximity to both locations and must choose which opportunity is the best fit for them. If your drive to the Northend practice gyms is manageable, we encourage you to choose our Northend teams for tryouts, since due to population density there are less players trying out for our Northend teams. 

Our Eastside Teams practice primarily in the Bellevue/Factoria area. Athletes North-South from Renton to Kirkland and East-West from Seattle to Snoqualmie typically play on our Eastside teams. For a full list of Eastside practice gyms, visit our PRACTICES page.

U15 Eastside is at capacity for our initial tryout.

*Team openings will be posted to our U15-U18 Tryout page 48 hours after the initial Tryout.  Registration will reopen for Makeup Tryouts at that time.

Our Northend Teams practice primarily in the area North of Seattle and South of Everett. Athletes North-South from Arlington to Seattle and East-West from Monroe to Edmonds typically play on our Northend teams.

EASTSIDE:

NORTHEND: 

There are a limited number of openings for tryouts and our tryouts usually fill. As a result, NW Juniors returning athletes will have the first opportunity to register for tryouts. NW Juniors incumbents will receive a personal invitation to register in mid-May. 

Tryout Registration OPENS to athletes from other clubs with 2023-24 CLUB** EXPERIENCE on JUNE 1st.
**Boys and Girls Club is NOT considered club volleyball

Tryout Registration OPENS to athletes without previous season club experience on JULY 1st. We will accept these registrations on a "space available" basis.
