New hire brings experience and enthusiasm

NW Juniors Elite Volleyball Club is happy to announce the hiring of Michael Jordan as the new Assistant Director for NW Juniors!

Coach MJ was most recently the Women’s Volleyball Head Coach at Columbia Basin College and prior to that, was a successful Club Director, National Team Head Coach and High School Varsity Coach in Boise, Idaho. A former Western Idaho Conference Coach of the Year, Jordan comes to NWJ with over twenty-five years of coaching experience across two sports. Coach MJ was one of the most highly credentialed coaches from the USAV Intermountain Region and is happy to be back in his hometown of Seattle.

Jordan stated, “ I was familiar with NWJ, having competed against the club in several National Qualifiers over the last few years of running club ball, before I left for the collegiate level, and was always impressed with the coaches and teams that we played. When I made the decision to move back to Seattle, NW Juniors was the organization that I wanted to be a part of. I’m really looking forward to being a part of this club!”

Coach MJ jumped right in and is working with Eastside teams in the Fall Academy. Tentatively, he will be coaching either the 18-1 or 14-1 team on the Eastside and is looking forward to bringing his relentlessly positive coaching style to NWJ!
