2020 Memorial Weekend Tournament: May 23-24, 2020

Under Armour Presents the 2020 Memorial Weekend Tournament.

The 2020 Memorial Weekend Tournament is an open entry for any team that wants to play over Memorial Day Weekend.  It is not an “invitational” style tournament, so teams will be accepted first paid, first served, until the tournament fills.  Also, this will be a two-day format event, allowing teams to enjoy Memorial Day off.  Same number of  matches at Emerald City Classic, condensed over 2 days at half the price!

The tournament will be held at the NW Sports Hub -- a 14 court facility in Centralia. With current renovations, the venue could house as many as 20 courts so teams will not have to worry about a lot of driving from the central core of tournament hotels. All Gold Division finals will be played on the feature wood courts at the NW Sports Hub. The Under Armour All-Tournament Team for each age group will be presented after each Gold Final.

There will be two rounds of pool play, followed by single elimination play. Saturday will be at least one round of pool (in most cases, the second round of pool will begin Saturday as well), Sunday will be the completion of the second round of pool and all of the playoff matches.  Play will go until later in the day Sunday — with Monday an off day.  There will be plaques for First Place teams and medals for individual champions in the Gold Division. Other division winners will also receive a prize.  Teams that finish in the top four are guaranteed to have players on the Under Armour All-Tournament team.

Team Limits: (tentatively for 14 courts at the NW Sports Hub and additional courts locally)

  • U16-18 Division: 24 Teams
  • U15-14 Division: 32 Teams
  • U13-12 Division: 16 Teams

There are an additional 10 courts in close proximity to the HUB. We will add teams based on registrations received by the end of February.

Doors open at 7:30 AM.
There is a mandatory coaches meeting Saturday at 8:00 AM. All teams must attend and verify their rosters. Please be prepared to show proof of membership for those that were not inputted in your AES Roster.

Play will begin at 8:30 AM both days of the competition.

Last Scheduled Match Saturday is 4:30 PM
Last Scheduled Match Sunday is TBA
