Kelsey comes to NW Juniors after recently graduating from Yale University where she was a starting setter and team captain. She left Yale in the top ten in career assists. While at Yale she received several all league honors including Ivy League Rookie of the Year her freshman season. She will be a great role model for our NW Juniors athletes.

Off the court, she was active as well:

  • Leader at Sunday Friends, leading exersice classes, arts and crafts, cooking classes, and computer classes for economically disadvantaged families
  • Worked at Project Sentinal aiding counselors
  • Traveled to Sicily for spring break to do classwork research. 
  • Served on the student activities and administrative committee for Silliman College. 

Before Yale: Starting setter for the two-time defending California Division II state champion Archbishop Mitty Monarchs...A PrepVolleyball.com All-America selection, as well as being a finalist for both the website's National Senior Player of the Year Award and Andi Collins Award, which is traditionally given out to the top high school setter in the nation. Crawford was named to the MaxPreps All-America Third Team as well as to their California All-American DII First Team...As a senior, Crawford was also named All-Mercury and All-WCAL first team as well as making the All-Tournament teams for the prestigious Santa Barbara TOC and Durango Classic high school tournaments...Played for Red Rock Volleyball Club, and has medaled twice at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals.
